I am interested in a) studying the interaction of light, nitrogen and carbon metabolisms in different photosynthetic leaves under differnent environmental conditions, b) identifying targets in photosystem to improve photosynthetic CO2 fixation efficiency under dynamic conditions. Mathematical models of photosynthesis with the potential to integrate genomic, microarray, proteomic, and metabolomic data, are developed in our lab. Mathematical modelling integrated with biophysical and physiological measurements is used in my research.
